OUR SERVICES
GLASGOW MUSIC and GUITAR REPAIRS offer experienced, dedicated and quality repairs, setups and restoration of acoustic and electric guitars, repairing all brands and offering custom instrument upgrades as well as pre-loved instrument sales.
Glasgow Music can also utilise in house machinery and technology such as CNC, Lasercutting and 3D printing if the project requires.

Kieran did a wonderful job finishing off my custom 12 string guitar. He fixed up the loose frets, leveled them then crowned all of them. Made the saddle and set the guitar up with an amazing action. It plays beautifully, stays in tune which is quite the challenge for a 12 string.
This is the second job Kerian has done for me and I would highly recommend his skill as a luthier. As a professional player himself he really understands how to get the most out of the instruments he works on. He has an amazing attention to detail and works to the highest of standards.

Took both my Bass Guitars in for set-ups and string changes along with some new knobs to fit. Friendly, very communicative and happy to answer any questions.

ABOUT US
From the early 90’s, after many years of developing skills, relationships, and experience, initially in a technical trade in the lower Hunter I diverged to a degree level music performance study in Lismore. I then focused on songwriting and spent two decades as a recording and performing artist. I returned to the Hunter Valley to follow a renewed direction in 2013, studying a four year industrial design degree and later, as a freelance designer, I unknowingly followed a path that would reconnect me with my love and natural flair for the practical, inquisitive, and aesthetically driven areas of myself.
Just before Covid hit I enlisted in the Australian Guitar Making School, Newcastle and built my first resonator guitar with Matt Semmens. Talk about a renewed lust for life! A year or so down the track and I started collecting a mountain of cheap old guitars to develop my skills. All of these factors have been the perfect lead-up to this great journey and guitar repair business.
I enjoy the freedom and challenges of running my own business but as a prolific people pleaser (repeat that quickly! ;-) ) I always strive for the best possible solutions to problems for the guitar player, be it beginner or professional.
An always excited and tenacious guitar repairer and performing musician, I’m extremely happy to say, I love what I do and envisage doing it all with great fervour for as long as I can.
